Matt is a general surgery registrar in the North West, currently undertaking a PhD in weight loss intervention to prevent cancer. He is passionate about technology enhanced surgical training and innovation to improve patient care. He studied for a MSc in Surgical Innovation at Imperial College, focussing on Robotic Surgery in the UK. He is a member of the ASiT Executive Council as Honorary Secretary and in his role as Chair of the Robotic and Digital Surgery Trainee Committee, aims to drive trainee-centred innovation and robotic training.
