Dr Lees is the Clinical Director of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia and Cardiac Critical Care, Barts Heart Centre, St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London, UK and chair of the Barts Health NHS Trust Sedation Committee. He is also the lead intensivist of the Nuffield Hospital, London and co-founder of SedateUK, the leading UK training organisation for non-anaesthetist delivered sedation, with over 1500 staff trained from over 100 hospitals in the UK and Ireland.
